Cratefan was created to showcase Coca-Cola’s recycling initiative, Live For a Difference, during the FIFA World Cup. Cratefan is a complex inner skeleton of scaffolding which is then clad with an outer layer of red Coke crates. Building on the recycling theme the installation is being continuously reimagined to celebrate Christmas, Easter and Cokes’ 125th Birthday.

Budget airline’s latest marketing stunt is to plan delivery of a herd of cows to Buckingham palace in celebration of the wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. For every flight booked from 14 February kulula “will make a contribution to the cost of a herd fit for a royal lobola (a symbolic payment to the bride’s family from the groom and his).” The cows will be sourced locally in the UK. The Sunday Times are reporting the couple has already decided not to accept gifts from corporations. Maybe they will be swayed by the plate & mugs? They do seem like collectors’ items.

Over the Mother’s Day weekend in May, Look & Listen offered families the opportunity to show their mothers just how much they are loved by getting a free semi-permanent spray-on tattoo. The idea formed part of a wider in-store campaign where a number of suitable Mother’s Day products had been selected and prominently merchandised.
