Am I Collective’s contribution to the Inkygoodness’ Character Totem Home coming’ exhibition. Am I Collective MD Mark van Niekerk says that for this new show, “we created ‘Maconini Abaphansi’. Our artwork shows a photograph of an African totem creature found by explorers in their quest for new tribes on the dark continent. He is made up of African masks and robotic elements from the tribe’s recurring encounters with UFO’s.”
