Nando’s recently launched an internal brand campaign, called ‘Take a Stand Against Bland’, to inspire all employees (from the CEO down) “to deliver on the brand promise”. So far 5000 pairs of Nando’s takkies has been distributed.

The Mail & Guardian is launching a new annual titled Digerati as a guide to everyone you need to know in SA technology. “Think of it as an encyclopaedia of local ICT movers and shakers and you’ll be only a little short of the mark,” reads the site. “It will also be an essential guide to procuring services, making decisions and just generally understanding the market.”
SABC red faced after chair fiasco
The SABC was left blushing after a chair broke during a live broadcast on SABC 2. The Chairperson of the Finance Portfolio Committee tumbled to the ground during the interview. The video is doing the rounds on YouTube under the title “Taking the Chair out of Chairperson.” Poor man.

Apartheid Museum ad looks at land distribution
This ad was created by Grey South Africa for the Apartheid Museum. The copy reads; “During Apartheid eighteen million people were forced to live on only thirteen percent of South Africa’s land. 4.5 million were given 87%.”
ANCSA losing out on domain name race
The identity of the new grouping will only officially be decided after the National Convention on November 2nd but already they face a challenge registering a domain name.
