Damon Stapleton on picking Saatchi & Saatchi Australia

Damon Stapleton, executive creative director at TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris, has announced that he is heading to Saatchi & Saatchi Australia to take up the role of ECD at that agency. This follows initial reports that he would be heading to London (additional job offers landed on his desk as soon as initial reports revealed he was preparing to leave TBWA).

S’HOT: Putting faces to (endangered wildlife) figures

Behind every number that makes up a statistic there is a living animal. TBWA/Hunt/Lascaris decided to give meaning to otherwise meaningless statistics by ‘putting faces to the figures’. Posters ran at EWT offices, various conservation programmes, seminars, lectures and presentations. It had a limited run in selected print media. It has since become part of the Lindt Environmental Exhibition.

Brianna Graves’ global (ad)venture

Brianna Graves has set out to discover the true state of global advertising by packing her bags, taking her savings, and getting on a plane. Travelling to six top ad agencies in six countries, including so far South Africa (where she spent a month with Hunts at its Jozi, Cape Town and Durban offices) and Canada (where she joined TAXI), Graves is documenting her experiences online at The Saturn Return Project.
