80 Jupiter Joburg staffers receive notices as agency repitches for Edcon
The Jupiter Drawing Room (Johannesburg) has confirmed that the agency sent out 80 notices of possible retrenchments to staff on Friday, 2 December 2011. CNBC Africa restructuring, retrenching staff
CNBC Africa, the financial and business television network, is in the process of an organisational restructure that will result in job losses at the broadcaster, Alexander Leibner, CNBC Africa marketing manager, has confirmed to Bizcommunity.com.
Mercury retrenches third of staff following GCIS move
Media placement house Mercury has had to retrench 10 staff members following a decision by the Government Communication and Information Service (GCIS) to centralise control of Government’s R1.7 billion annual advertising budget (including departmental). The GCIS was a long-standing client of Mercury, which has had considerable success in attracting business from government departments and parastatals over the years.
