Sabelo Mlangeniwas awarded the Tollman Award for the Visual Arts 2009 for his work of a series of scenes of women cleaning the inner city of Johannesburg entitled Invisible Women which he photographed over an eight-month period at night between 11pm and 3.30am.

Ultra Mel ad layers photography
Ultra Mel custard is delicious whichever way you look at it. Agency Y&R took photographs of three beautiful girls and desaturated the pictures. It then made an A1 print of each and rephotographed the print in colour with a drop of Ultra Mel custard strategically placed on each print.
Hello World – a photographic collaboration
Hello World Agency officially launched their new offices in the Design District of Rosebank recently and took the opportunity to showcase their innovative approach to branding.
The launch concept was a collaboration that included South Africa’s top photographic and artist talent, as well as staff, media and clients, who were all asked to participate in developing a multi-medium exhibition of how they interpreted Hello World. This idea was taken one step further by integrating their interpretations into the ever-evolving brand identity to form a multi-dimensional view of Hello World.
