 End of the Big 5

The Client: Save the Rhino
The Agency: Stick
The Brief: Highlight the seriousness of the current carnage and show what the eventual outcome of the continued slaughter might turn out to be.
Creative Solution: Create intriguing visuals that suggest that when the rhinos have all gone nothing that we can ever do will bring them back. The Big 5 might soon be something of the past. The work was done pro-bono and is running in supportive media including the inflight magazine of Mango.
Creative Team: Jono Wolberg (Art Director), Mike Ellman-Brown (Copywriter & CD ) and Darryl Cowling (Creative Director)

This campaign was also featured in the ‘Create’ pages I compile for AdVantage magazine. It was run in the April 2011 edition of the magazine.

  1. Love the campaign. Gets the message across very clearly. It may rattle some people that are already sensitized to the issues and feeling a tad angry/helpless – and thus generate a negative kickback. But it will certainly bring the message home to people that may be slightly aloof of the reality of the situation. So YES this campaign spreads the message to a wider audience and makes a clear statement that needs to be made.
