The next United States presidential election of 2012 is only going to be held on Tuesday 6 November 2012 but it seems like US Art Directors in are already fighting to get the most creative and/or unique cover related to the election published. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more US elections covers over the next few months…

What I remember most about the Obama-campaign, was that artists and young creatives contributed by creating posters and iconic images of President Obama that went viral, and made him look and sound ‘cool’. The Huffington Post (iPad) Magazine interepreted the question “End of the affair?” in a very striking way with one of these iconic images/posters…

I first thought it’s a joke. But it’s not. Bloomberg Businessweek is showing some of the creative / unique / useful / stupid / collectors items / trailer trash (you decide) items that the Obama-campaign is currently putting on the market. I love how they’re subtly joking with the products by designing the cover to look like it does.
