In 2016, the Broadcast Research Council of South Africa (BRCSA) changed its policy about giving away TAMS and now only monthly reports, highlighting the top 20 or 30 primetime shows on several popular channels, are available.

hi there – the BRC March DStv numbers are not comparable. The heading of “Top 30 All Adults 15+ & DStv Adults” is incorrect. The Digital DStv universe includes children aged 4 to 14 years : so hence the viewership numbers under the DStv column is higher than the viewership measured against all adults 15+ years old.
you may wish to point this out to the BRC people who supply you with the data?
