Now in its sixth year, the Annual August Body Issue is always a big talking point! Read more about it 2013 Body Issue (remember Gary Player in the buff!?) right here.This year, it has six personalities on six different covers and, even though I think last year’s were stronger, I still think these are great!
The covers star Marshawn Lynch, Serge Ibaka, Jamie Anderson, Venus Williams, Prince Fielder and Michael Phelps (hottest/best cover out of all of them!).

Brownbook, July/August 2014
I’m not familiar with the title but, according to its website, it’s “the essential guide to contemporary Middle East and North Africa”.
Something with the cover image and design treatment just strikes me!
And a very interesting image used for an issue that seems to look at emigrants/emigration…
Outside, August 2014
A GREAT cover to accommodate its investigative article about the future (or end?) of Mount Everest and the tourism that goes with it…
The Carton, Summer 2014
Yip, The Carton is a food magazine, even though it doesn’t scream it on the cover but has a simple design instead…
But the reason that I’m including this issue/magazine is because of its smart and fun logo! Spot the carton ;-)

For its Food and Drink issue, Esquire Philippines has taken a bold and risky move by turning the tables but still staying fashionable while looking like a pig (and having one on your head…).
