Here’s something I didn’t know… British Airways has a separate in-flight magazine for their First Class passengers called First Life (UK). And it’s stunningly simple and beautiful. I’ve also included a previous cover to show you the theme (and brilliantly simple elements and photography) running through their covers…

Is it a flag? A flower? What is it? When looking quickly, it looks to me a like a few different things, but in the end, it’s a beautiful ‘distorted’ image of a Formula 1 car in the bay, to promote the cover story on Bangkok Airways’ in-flight magazine. You can read the whole issue right here.

High Life South Africa, the in-flight magazine for British Airways South Africa, is constantly producing noteworthy covers. It’s mostly because of their photography and humour, but this month it’s all about the image and typography and usage. This covers make me want to be the little silhouette man, walking next to that river…
