“Reunion Island is great” and so is its beer! No human figure is allowed in beer advertising though. The Dodo presented an opportunity to humanise the brand and show the companionship expected from the national beer brand, BOURBON, known locally by everybody as DODO. Luvi Ogilvy created one of the biggest outdoor campaigns ever on Reunion Island. By the way, if you ever go to Reunion and ask for a beer, make sure you ask a Dodo. Asking for a Bourbon will look weiiiird.
