by Herman Manson (@marklives) Allan Gray has awarded its advertising business to Ogilvy & Mather Cape Town. The business went out to pitch after King James resigned as its agency after 11 years, following its appointment to handle the Sanlam Group advertising and communications account.

Henk Pieterse, head of marketing at Allan Gray, commented that “O&M CT faced very tough competition for our account. We chose them because we believe they are a great culture fit for us and that they will deliver outstanding value to our business.
