Renault appoints ad agency
Dalmatian Advertising has won of the Renault account. “I love challenging the status quo, big ideas and working with talented people,” says Jesus Bovedam Renault South Africa VP of marketing, . “We have found all of that and more in the team at Dalmatian. We are going to do very exciting things this year and beyond together.”
“The agency review was informed by the client’s need to seriously up their game in this highly competitive market, and to take a different view on automotive advertising and communication. We conducted an extensive market mapping exercise at the outset and are delighted that the team at Dalmatian came through with flying colours at the end of the process,” notes Johanna McDowell of IAS, which worked closely with Renault during the pitch.
According to Gabi Weinstein, Dalmatian partner and managing director, the agency has had a great start to the year, starting with the appointment of Jake Bester as partner and ECD, and then Dalmatian Cape Town adding Protea Hotels by Marriott to its client stable. “Our purpose is to create work that demands attention, and winning Renault is a strong proof point of that ambition and purpose. We can’t wait to get started!” she says.
