Wonderland Collective expands to UK, UAE
Wonderland Collective has acquired UK agency, Studio Aura, opening up an office in London as well as one in the UAE, and will now operate as a single entity across the UK, UAE and South Africa. Offering user experience, user interface design and development, Wonderland Collective was launched by South African husband and wife team, Graeme Lipschitz and Lexi Fontein.
Wonderland Collective and Studio Aura had been working together as a unit for more than a year before the announcement of the final merger. “Our vision is to work with bold organisations to accelerate the positive change they are making in the world,” says Lipschitz, Wonderland Collective co-founder and head of business development.
The company also plans to expand into other emirates within the UAE, establish itself more in the UK and grow its production base in SA.
“We now have five people in the UK office who are mainly account management and account direction,” he says. “Our plans for the UAE are to expand into all of the other emirates — as we’re only really active in Sharjah at the moment — and to start doing some private sector work as we’re mostly doing public sector government work right now.”
