Virgin Active Red appoints agency
Following a three-way pitch, AVATAR Cape Town has been awarded the Virgin Active Red account, effective 1 July 2017. Virgin Active Red launched in South Africa in 2014 and currently has 12 gyms across the country.
“We signed up with AVATAR Agency because we have a shared ethos, and similar values. What was also really important to us is that AVATAR Agency is an agency that understands Virgin Active Red customers and what makes them tick,” says Unathi Ntsokoma, head of marketing and sales of Virgin Active Red.
Chevron SA has also extended AVATAR’s role on its Caltex account to include digital media planning and buying.
Avatar is part of the M&N (formerly AIH) group of companies, which is wholly owned by Zibusiso Mkhwanazi and Veli Ngubane.
