New regional CD for Ogilvy Africa
Brett Wild is the new regional creative director for Ogilvy Africa, replacing Joao Espirito Santo, who is moving back to Portugal for a new assignment. Wild has over 30 years’ experience in advertising.
Comments Mathieu Plassard, Ogilvy Africa CEO, “We are delighted and honoured to welcome Brett Wild to Ogilvy Africa at a time when the agency is going through a period of renewed creative growth and integrated communications delivery for Pan-African clients.”
According to Plassard, Wild has been chosen because of his global creative work experience and his exposure to transformative communication: “This is critical for us as we lead the market into offering more-integrated communication campaigns to our clients.@
Wild has previously worked at Ogilvy & Mather in Johannesburg as an art and creative director. He has also worked at TBWA\Hunt Lascaris; Saatchi & Saatchi South Africa; Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore (where he mentored agencies in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, and took the Singapore office to the top three in the network); Hammersmith & Elephant Productions; and, more recently, ECD of Avatar in Johannesburg.
