New CEO for Apurimac

Nazareen (“Naz”) Jakoet, the current COO of Cape Town-based digital media and marketing company Apurimac Media, has been promoted to CEO, effective 27 November 2014. She takes over from Apurimac founder Will Green, who will now focus his time on sourcing strategic opportunities for the company; the daily management function will rest with Jakoet.

Green founded the company in 2006. With offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg, it represents a number of clients, including Yahoo!, for which it is the sole representative on the African continent.

Jakoet joined the company as a financial controller in 2009, and has since been steadily promoted. She has worked in debtors and creditor management, as well as financial control, since 1999.
