DDB SA welcomes new CEO
Melissa “Mel” Daniels officially stepped into her new role of DDB South Africa CEO at the end of December 2019, following a three-month handover period with Emmet O’ Hanlon. Previously, she was chief of staff at TBWA\South Africa.

Daniels began her career at IBM as a marketing and communications specialist before moving to Aqua Online. She joined TBWA\Openco as head of digital and later MD before taking up her role as chief of staff at TBWA\South Africa.
In her new position as CEO, Daniels will be aggressively driving the agency’s strategy and processes for business development and client partnerships by actively building on the core competencies of performance/precision marketing and introducing new service offerings which will result in client’s achieving their business objectives.
