Associated Media, Thumbtribe launch ampDigital
Associated Media Publishing (AMP) has partnered with mobile-first digital agency, Thumbtribe, to launch ampDigital. The joint venture will specialise in a range of services from web, mobile, wifi, print solutions, social, events, activation and location, thereby combining two separate and distinct disciplines – content creation and digital delivery – into a single purpose.
ampDigital is jointly owned by AMP and Thumbtribe, and has offices in Cape Town (head office), Johannesburg and Durban.
AMP currently attracts more than 1.2m readers each month through its print titles and more than 8m users through its online properties. The company’s portfolio includes: Cosmopolitan, House & Leisure, Good Housekeeping, Goeie Huishouding, Marie Claire and Women on Wheels.
Established in 2003, Thumbtribe is a mobile-first digital agency; its customer base includes Unilever and Samsung.
